Each semester, members are recruited to assist in one of five committees. This is a great opportunity for general members to deepen their involvement in the club, develop their professional skills, and serves as excellent preparation for the responsibilities of executive positions.

Leadership Opportunties

Looking to get more involved? MKT is always looking for motivated marketers to lead our organization to a bigger and brighter future at the Wisconsin School of Business. Whether you specialize in digital, creative, or another facet of marketing, MKT provides unique opportunities for members to grow their professional abilities and obtain experience in the business world. 

Vice President

Play a pivotal role in the running of MKT operations as one of six Vice Presidents. From finance to career engagement, members have the opportunity to dedicate their focus to a particular dimension of marketing on the executive board.

Director

The Directors of Social Media, Communications, and DEI are responsible for internal and external marketing of MKT events, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all facets of the organization.  Lead campaigns and initiatives to connect with our diverse audience. 

Committee Chair

Assist the VP/Director in leading a committee to success. Attend executive board meetings, provide feedback to improve committees, and develop your leadership abilities to position yourself as a capable member that can serve on the executive board in the future.

Committee Descriptions

Merchandising

The Merchandising committee heads the Wisconsin School of Business Pop-Up Shop which stands as the exclusive seller of all business school apparel. Committee members will have the chance to touch a variety of areas that contribute to the operation and success of the store. These include product development, pricing analysis, supplier outreach and management, shipping, and promotional tactics.

New: The Merchandising Committee will be more involved in producing creative designs for the Wisconsin School of Business Apparel & merchandise, offering members more room to engage in graphic design. 

*All executive and committee members must be available for bi-weekly meetings, and must fulfill all member requirements. Consulting Committee members must commit to weekly meetings.
